This box absolutely is gorgeous! We had a very plain, ugly box on the wall, surrounded by framed, lovely mementos and items, and one day I looked and thought how very much I needed a better looking key box there; I started looking and thank goodness, found this one. It is not inexpensive, but, when considering how it is almost a piece of furniture, it adds a striking effect wherever it is placed. And it's utilitarian - it doesn't get better than that! Being a big fan of the "Lord of the Rings" books/movies, I was first attracted to it for it's design - it looks like something from the story which was a big appeal for me. Then when I realised that it would add such 'class' to my wall, simply to hold my keys, well, it sold itself. If there is one tiny complaint about it, it would be that the picture of it shows a much lighter, warmer wood colour and that the design is more 'visible' on it - maybe they are each hand painted or something, but mine came an almost mahogany colour, and the design is not as pronounced as shown in the picture. If this is important to you, you should contact the seller first to ask about it. Me, I'm just tickled every time I look at my wall and see that lovely piece sitting there holding our keys! Highly recommended for those wishing to upgrade from a plain, or in my case plain and ugly, key holder.

Quality construction and solid, nice key holders, i would have preferred 9 key holders as opposed to 6, but overall the product was very nice.
